This was a highlight for many conference participants: Even though some seemed to be sceptical at first, they were quickly won over by the smiles and the good atmosphere in the room. “You can’t be creative when you are in a bad mood”, encouraged Dr. Claudia Schmitt, Managing Director & Scientific Coordinator of the Center for a Sustainable University (University Hamburg) and initiator of the HSDS, “ Lego Serious Play® is a powerful tool to share mental models, and especially useful in diverse groups.” In the picture Dr. Julie Newman (Director of the Office of Sustainability, MIT) explains the idea behind their LEGO model of a future university.
