Keynotes and Introduction on HSDS

Hamburg Sustainable Development Summit 2017 started in time with an official welcome to the audience spoken by Prof. Dieter Lenzen (President Universität Hamburg), Katharina Fegebank (Second Mayor and Senator for Science, Research and Equalities Hamburg) and Dr. Karl Eugen Huthmacher (Federal Ministry of Education and Research).
After the keynote speaker Dr. Claudia Schmitt (president and initiator of the HSDS) and Dr. Clemens Mader, COPERNICUS Alliance, University of Zurich gave an introduction to the HSDS goals, claims and networks. Dr. Claudia Schmitt as Chief Executive Officer also answered some question about challenges organising HSDS 2017.
