Slot 6 – Time for a nap!
28 September 2017, by Tobias Wegener
Time flies … slot 6 was already the last workshop session of the HSDS conference and the workshop “How to spread and promote sustainability at HEI” came up with an extraordinary task for the attendees:
Open Area | Workshop, Presentation Looking ahead: Reflection of Topic Room Conclusions |
Workshop, Poster How to spread and promote sustainability at Higher Education Institutions (HEI) |
Workshop Sustainable energy supply: Trade-offs in energy transition process |
Workshop, Presentation, Poster Sustainability in HEI – Research Agenda and Stakeholder Expectations |
Workshop, Presentation, Poster Serious Play and Creativity Methods for Transformation Processes |
topic room program (slot 6)
In the workshop the participants almost fell asleep for a moment – and that was officially desired: They were asked to dream about a better world!
And as they woke up, the world was supposed to be perfectly sustainable. In this game Giulia Fontana and Lorenz Keysser from Sustainability Week Zurich and ETH Zurich gave an introduction for the participants and let them create a vision of a perfectly sustainable university. Everyone was asked to dream about this and write down an imagination of it. Afterwards they concluded, which policy area at their own university could improve sustainability at most. Thereby a bridge is built between an abstract (possibly utopian) vision and a concrete step towards its practical realisation.
