Thursday: Highlights of the Day
28 September 2017, by Tobias Wegener
The third conference day has come to an end and we have asked participants of the conference: What was your personal highlight of the first day?
Saskia Bloch “My highlight today was the exchange at the lunch table with the different participants because it was an international table with someone from Slovenia, Switzerland and Germany. So there were a lot of different perspectives on sustainability. ” |
Vincent Caruana “In the workshop today, I had the opportunity to reflect what has happened during the last three days and that helped me to clarify how I want to organize the next conference on SDGs in Malta. I want to open it up to include everybody, so that the staff, the department and our students can attend. Suddenly, things started to make sense. ” |
Carla Herth “My highlight was Prof. Dr. Helga Kromp-Kolb in the panel discussion today in the morning. She said we always have the opportunity to make a decision even if you decide not to act. It’s up to us to develop guidelines for sustainability instead of not to do it and to let things take their course.” |
